Jordan B. Peterson will appear at Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre next spring as part of his We Who Wrestle With God Tour, event promoter Live Nation has announced.
The 62-year-old will return to the Blanshard Street arena on March 31.
Peterson visited the venue in 2023 as part of a tour to support his 2021 book Beyond Order: 12 More Rules for Life.
That appearance drew a response from a group of University of Victoria students who protested the author’s opposition to Bill C-16, an amendment to the Canadian Human Rights Act that addressed gender identity.
Peterson is currently embroiled in a war of words with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who testified under oath last week at the Foreign Interference Commission in Ottawa that Peterson was one of the conservative media personalities to receive funding from Russian state media network RT.
Peterson told the National Post on Oct. 18 that he is considering legal action against the prime minister for defamation.
The Victoria appearance is one of 46 new dates on the We Who Wrestle With God Tour, which now runs until April 4, 2025.
Tickets for his lecture/seminar go on sale next week, starting with a pre-sale on Oct. 23.
The public can purchase tickets on Oct. 25 through the Select Your Tickets box office (250-220-7777). They are also available in person or online from selectyourtickets.com.
