ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Ferries is considering hiring a third-party to run its whistleblower and confidential reporting system, now done internally.
The company has issued a request for information, with Sept. 23 set as the deadline for submissions.
Ceilidh Marlow, ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Ferries’ senior communications advisor, said many public-sector organizations are using third-party providers for such services for their neutrality, “and we are investigating whether this option could be beneficial for ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Ferries.”
The company wants to ensure staff are confident that any reported concerns are handled seriously and in confidence, Marlow said.
