Four people were injured, one seriously, in a vehicle crash near Port Alberni Summit that temporarily closed Highway 4 on Friday morning.
ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Emergency Health Services spokesperson Rachelle Brown said ambulances were dispatched to the area for a collision shortly after 8:30 a.m.
One person was transported to hospital by air ambulance, while three others were transported to hospital by ground ambulance following the crash, Brown said in a statement.
The highway was closed to traffic following the accident for about two hours and was fully reopened by 1 p.m., according to DriveBC.
