SHERBROOKE, Que. — The Sherbrooke Phoenix got two goals from Julien Anctil to defeat the division-leading Quebec Remparts 5-2 for their second victory in a row in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Saturday.
The Phoenix (8-3-0) jumped into second place in the Western Conference with their eighth victory in their past nine games since dropping two to open the season.
Joshua Roy had a goal and an assist, and Ivan Zhigalov made 25 saves.
The Remparts (9-3-0) dropped their second straight game. Pier-Olivier Roy and Christophe Farmer scored while William Rousseau turned away 25 pucks in defeat.
