All for progress if there's no change

Like the writer, I too am embarrassed at the poor judgment of the "anti" voters on the Oak Bay council in rejecting the proposed new Oak Bay Lodge.

Victoria-area municipalities seem beset with low-density advocates who decry taller buildings in the interest of keeping the area like an English village.

The mayor and council are like Mark Twain who said: "I'm all for progress as long as there's no change."
