I do not understand how anybody can believe that Premier Christy Clark really is going to stand up for our province when it comes to the Enbridge pipelines.
The last thing we need is her price tag on this catastrophe-in-waiting. She does not have a mandate from the people of British Columbia to make such decisions. What we need to do is to make our voices heard in a big way before our pristine coast is raped by big oil and by China.
What worries me the most is that the Chinese regime already is threatening our nation with statements like they won't consider ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ a good trading partner if we don't accept the pipelines and the oil tankers in our coastal waters. What they have done to their own environment clearly tell us what they will do to ours if Prime Minister Stephen Harper lets them.
I find it really scary that one of the most brutal regimes in the world when it comes to their own people and their own environment seems to be getting more and more influence in Ottawa.
