We have raised and distributed millions of dollars through our Christmas Fund over the years — including $1.12 million last year alone — and the success is a direct result of your generosity.

The ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Christmas Fund is about helping people, when they need it. The newspaper asks readers for donations, which are then distributed to local organizations that know which individuals could use the most help.

By 4 p.m., 39 donors had been in touch by telephone and through the ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½Helps portal. They donated a total of $10,305.

The 2023 total includes $1,070,704.77 that came in through 3,772 donations during our formal fundraising campaign, which runs every year from Nov. 12 to Dec. 31.
